Dependencies and 3rd party packages

This article outlines the major dependencies required to build and execute a Warewolf server and studio. See the getting started article if you do not wish to add or change Warewolf dependencies.

Adding dependencies
Warewolf dependencies are stored in the GitHub Binaries folder. If you wish to create a new dependency, it must be stored must be stored and referenced from this folder so that the project is easily buildable.
If you are adding dependencies with the intention of redistribution with the Warewolf installer, then the Warewolf team must be notified when submitting a pull request.
The Warewolf server is an Any CPU compliant process and as such, it is not permitted to add dependencies that are tied to a specific CPU architecture.
The Warewolf studio is currently an X86 process; however additional x86 specific dependencies are not permitted and it is moving towards an Any CPU build.
Warewolf is an open source project and as such, all dependencies added to the project are required to meet the criteria of our license. <>

Changing dependencies
Please contact us before changing the version of any Warewolf dependency to prevent build failures and general instability.
